The San Diego chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF) meets in person on the first
Thursday of every month at Northminster PresbyterianChurch (no affiliation to TCF), 4324 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92117 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The church is located in the Clairmont Shopping Center.
Virtual meetings are held also on the first Wednesday day from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on Zoom. Please email sdtcfzoom@gmail.com for the passcode.
Meetings are led by members who are further along in the grieving process. When attendance is high, small groups are formed so that everyone can participate to the extent they need. Newcomers participate at their own pace and there are no preconceived expectations of any kind. During the month of your loved one\'\'s birthday, a celebration can be held at the end of the meeting. While completely optional, it gives the family an opportunity to share pictures and memories of their child in a safe and loving environment. ________________________________________________________________
