Candle Lighting Service

Our 2009 Candle Lighting Service was held December 13, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church at 4811 Mount Etna, San Diego, Ca.92117. It was an opportunity for many grieving families and friends to remember our chrildren that have left us all too soon. The 2010 candle lighting will be held the second Sunday in December which is the 12th. Please check next December for further information.

Balloon Release and Family Pot Luck Picnic

This year the annual balloon release and family pot luck picnic will be held on October 4 at the traditional Admiral Baker site (see map below). Starting time is 10 am with food served at noon and the balloons released at 1 pm. This has become a welcome, informal setting to share with other bereaved families and friends. Please bring a dish to pass, and the meat and soft drinks will be supplied by the Chapter.

We hope you didn't miss the 2008 family picnic. It was one of the best ever. Pictures of the event over the last five years can be seen by clicking on a button to the left.
